University

Asia University is located in the heart of Tokyo, where students devote themselves to their studies on campus in a quiet and peaceful environment. Founded in 1941, the university celebrated its 85th anniversary in 2026.

Operated by the Tokyu Group, a major Japanese corporate group, the university offers students comprehensive career support and a robust scholarship system. At the undergraduate level, the university offers eight majors in social sciences. It also offers three graduate programs.

For those who wish to study at a Japanese university but do not yet have sufficient Japanese language proficiency, the “Intensive Japanese Course (IJC)” is available. The IJC is a one-year Japanese language preparatory course designed for international students

For those who meet the eligibility requirements, a generous scholarship program is available that covers tuition for one year of Japanese language study and four years of undergraduate study (five years total), as well as two years of dormitory fees and textbook costs.

Each year, approximately 300 international students study on the same campus alongside a total student body of about 7,000. Please note that Asia University does not offer degree programs taught entirely in English. For more details, please visit “JJEF 2026!”.
