University

University of Tsukuba is one of Japan’s leading national universities and is consistently ranked among the top 10 universities in Japan. In September 2024, the university opened its branch campus in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The programme offered in Malaysia is the Bachelor of Arts and Science. Unlike traditional degree programmes that focus on a single field, students study a wide range of academic fields, including data science, natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, and Japanese culture.

Classes are conducted using Problem-Based Learning (PBL), where students work on real-world issues and projects. Through discussions, research, teamwork, and collaborations with industry partners, students learn how to think independently and develop practical solutions to today’s global issues.

The programme helps students build not only academic knowledge, but also important skills such as critical thinking, communication, creativity, and leadership, preparing them for future careers in an increasingly global and fast-changing world.
